Once I was in highschool within the mid-2000s, my cheerleading squad used to combat over the three-barrel iron. We known as it a “waver” on the time, and it was like an ‘80s crimper, solely with a lot thicker, wider bends. We’d shellack our hair with a ton of grape-scented Aussie hairspray, then get to crimping, watching our hair sizzle within the mirror. (Sure, I cringe in hindsight.) It appears to be like like Nicole Kidman can be a fan of the software, as her Spellbound premiere look is getting dangerously near bringing again crimped hair.
The three-barrel iron has had a current resurgence; the software was sizzling, sizzling, sizzling within the early 2020s as a simple strategy to get uniform beachy waves. Kidman, who has naturally curly hair, went for a mermaiden take a look at the premiere of her animated film, along with her strawberry blonde hair styled in smooth, completely imperfect waves. The waves started simply above her forehead and loosened up towards the ends, as if she had set her hair with a three-barrel iron, then let it cool and brushed it out for extra texture.
